South Africa named a 21-man team for the three-match Test series against India, which begins on December 26 at home.
The series will be contested at SuperSport Park in Centurion (1st Test), The Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg (2nd Test), and Newlands in Cape Town as part of the ICC World Test Championship’s new cycle (3rd Test).
Anrich Nortje was named to the squad, while Sisanda Magala, a bowler, and wicketkeeper-batsman Ryan Rickelton, are newcomers.

The most successful run chase by South Africa was against Australia in Perth in 2008, and it is also the second most successful fourth-innings total. Australia had set a target of 414 points for South Africa.
